A native of Portsmouth, Ohio, Phil left the Buckeye State as sportswriter in 1991 and returned as Realtor specializing in luxury residences.

After graduating from The Ohio State University, Phil began a 30-year career in the newspaper industry, including stops in Portsmouth, Canton and Charleston, SC.

In Charleston, Phil smoothly transitioned in 2014 to the real estate industry and became a Global Luxury Property Specialist with Coldwell Banker Realty. He was in the top 16 percent of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide in sales for 2022.
